MINNESOTA HPAI TOOLBOX

From December 19, 2014 through June 17, 2015, the United States experienced its worse animal disease outbreak when highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) affected backyard and commercial facilities in 15 states.  From this outbreak: • 219 detections were reported, • 48,082,293 birds were affected. Minnesota was the state that was affected the most with 101 confirmed detections of the disease.  We thank the Minnesota Department of Agriculture for sharing the following “tools” they created while responding to this outbreak.
