2013 New Orleans Workshop
Celebrating its Tenth Anniversary, the Partnership headed
to the Big Easy for its annual Workshop on Bourbon Street
at the Sheraton Four Points French Quarters from April 29 -
May 2, 2013. Joining the Partnership at this workshop was
the Southern Agriculture and Animal Disaster Response
Alliance (SAADRA) for the second Joint Regional
Workshop.
Over 230 representatives from federal, state and local
government, together with industry came from 30 states
and Canada to network and share ideas to reduce threats,
minimize impacts, and quickly recover from a food and
agricultural security event.
The workshop focused on the following:
